Former Judge Caprio to light the Big Blue Bug for the holidays

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Frank Caprio, retired Providence Municipal Court judge, will light the Big Blue Bug for the holidays.
Caprio will serve as the celebrity lighter in the annual tradition of illuminating Nibbles Woodaway.
The face of “Caught in Providence” served the city for nearly 40 years before he stepped down in January.
He received national attention as “the nicest judge in the world.”
The courtroom he served in was renamed in his honor last month.
The lighting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Big Blue Bug Solutions in Providence.
