Head-on crash in Warwick sends 1 to the hospital

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — One person was brought to the hospital after a head-on crash on a busy road in Warwick on Wednesday morning.

Police were called to a reported crash with injuries around 6 a.m. on Airport Road.

Eastbound traffic was temporarily blocked near the Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.

The crash impacted the morning commute for about an hour.

One person was brought to Rhode Island Hospital. Their condition was unknown.
