Iowa sheriff’s office provides update on church shooting that left 3 dead, including the gunman

AMES, Iowa (WLNE) — The sheriff’s office in Iowa will provide an update Friday on a church shooting that left three dead, including the gunman.

The Story County Sheriff’s Office said a man shot two females to death and then apparently killed himself outside the Cornerstone Church in Ames.

The sheriff’s office has yet to identify those killed or give details about what led to the shooting.
