Part of road closed down after car slams into pole in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Part of a road in Warwick is closed down after a car slammed into a pole early Thursday morning.
The single-car crash happened around 7 a.m. on Church Avenue.
Warwick police said the driver of that car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
ABC 6 News crews at the scene saw that the pole was snapped in half.
National Grid responded to the scene, and blocked off part of the road while they make repairs.
