T.F. Green International Airport sees steady lines ahead of holiday weekend

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Lines were moving steadily along at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport ahead of the holiday weekend.

Airport officials said there was a rush around 4 a.m. Friday and it was smooth sailing for the rest of the morning.

While checking wasn’t an issue, a long line formed at ticketing and bag check for both Breeze Airways and Skyline. Travelers told ABC 6 News there appeared to be only one person working the desk.

One traveler in that line told ABC 6, “you’ve got to wait, it is what it is.”

Overall, most people at T.F. Green were in the holiday spirit.

“It’s still worth it to go through all this to be able to see our family,” one traveler said. “It’s amazing to be able to travel all the way across the country in just a portion of the day.”
