Technical Media Operator
WLNE-TV/ABC 6, the ABC affiliate in beautiful Providence, Rhode Island, is searching for a Technical Media Operator as we expand our news operations.
The Technical Media Operator works with producers and production staff in planning newscasts, taking video feeds, master control, and other broadcast operations.
You will:
- Direct newscasts using automation
- Troubleshoot for clean technical newscasts
- Monitor transmitter, records satellite feeds, and dub in commercials
- Edit video using Adobe Premiere
You have:
- Experience with live news television production
- News production experience (preferably with Octopus)
- Knowledge of Ross Graphics
- A degree in broadcasting, communications, or a related field preferred
- An appreciate a fast-paced environment and breaking news
- Willing to work various shifts
