Tornado touches down in Easton
EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The National Weather Service said that a tornado touched down on the Easton-Foxborough line Sunday afternoon.
A weather alert released by the organization said the EF-1 tornado had an estimated peak wind speed of 105 miles-per-hour.
Damage from the storm was confirmed in Brockton, East Bridgewater, and parts of Easton.
The National Weather Service is currently surveying damage caused by severe weather in the region Saturday night.
