Ice skating rink open on Christmas Eve

The countdown until Santa arrives is one, and some people are passing the time by ice skating. 

The ice skating rink was filled with families and friends of all ages ice skating. 

Around 200 people laced up their skates to glide around the John Breslow Ice Skating Rink. 

For some people. it’s a way to spend your holiday break doing something fun, but for others it’s a Christmas tradition. 

“We opened presents, then we had a good feast, then we went shopping, and then we are here,” Kilee Shade, an ice skater at John Breslow, said. 

Kilee’s family is visiting from out of state, so they try to pack as many fun Christmas activities as they can into one day.

The rink so a lot of smiles and a few tears from some wipe outs on the ice. 

The John Breslow Ice Hockey Center is closed for Christmas, but will reopen on Wednesday, Dec., 26th.
