Inmate convicted of first-degree murder dies at Omaha prison
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A convicted murderer died Wednesday at the Omaha Correctional Center.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said 74-year-old Brian Adams’ cause of death is unknown, but he was being treated for a medical condition.
Adams was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in Douglas County. His sentence began on Oct. 29, 1968.
A grand jury will investigate Adams’ death, as required by Nebraska law.
