LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 56-year-old inmate died Friday at the Reception and Treatment Center.

Randall Dasher was being treated for a medical condition, the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said, but his cause of death has not been determined.

He was sentenced in 2009 for multiple theft charges, possession of a controlled substance, criminal impersonation and escape.

As required by Nebraska law, a grand jury will investigate Dasher’s death.
