Inmate dies at Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An inmate died at the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln on Sunday.
Daniel Dak, 33, was serving an 18- to 36-year sentence for robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony out of Lancaster County.
He started his sentence in October 2011.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services did not give a cause of death.
Whenever an inmate dies in custody, a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
