Inmate who disappeared from Lincoln correctional facility arrested in Grand Island

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An inmate who went missing from a Lincoln corrections facility earlier this year was arrested Wednesday.
Jordana Kelley-Nelson, 26, was taken into custody and booked into the Hall County Jail in Grand Island.
Kelley-Nelson was sentenced to 15 months for accessory to a felony out of Buffalo County and two years for possession of methamphetamine out of Adams County.
She started her sentence in June at the Community Correction Center in Lincoln.
Community custody is the lowest custody level and has the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed work, while also attending school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
Kelley-Nelson left the correction center without prior approval on January 16.
