Intense heat isn’t slowing down a Lincoln bike group
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The O.L.L.I. bike group is continuing to ride Lincoln’s trails even during record high temperatures.
The group usually meets at 8:30 a.m., but event organizer Tim Shaw said they are making some changes because of the heat.
“We’re going to move it to 8:00 a.m., we just talked about that,” said Shaw. “We decided yesterday that with the heat it’s going to be important that everybody stay hydrated.”
The group took off from Moore Middle School on Wednesday morning, but they bike all of the trails across Lincoln.
