Internet and landlines are up and running again in Firth

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — UPDATE: Landline phone and internet services are up and running again in Firth.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said early Thursday morning that the services were restored.

The Firth area is without landline phone and internet service on Wednesday night.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said around 7 p.m. that utility crews are working to fix the outage.

Residents are encouraged to check on neighbors who don’t have a cellphone, especially those with health problems.
Life Alert stations may lose connection, according to the Lincoln-Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency.
