“It’s a Small World” Disneyland attraction unveils inclusive new dolls

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – It’s a first in the 67-year history of Disneyland.
Characters in wheelchairs are now represented in one of the attractions.
The California theme park on Friday unveiled two dolls in wheelchairs on the “It’s a Small World” ride.
The project took more than half a year in what the resort says is its aim to look “With a magnifying glass” for opportunities for inclusion.
In a statement, the president of non-profit “Disability-in” says the new dolls are “A fantastic addition.”
The “It’s a small world” ride opened at the Anaheim park in 1966.
Guests of the attraction ride a boat through scenes representing multiple countries, with audio-animatronic figures that represent children.
