It’s National French Fry Day. Vote for your favorite
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — If you find it hard to say no to a basket of fries, on Friday, you don’t have to.
It’s National French Fry Day, a day to celebrate the tasty finger food.
On average, Americans eat about 30 pounds of fries per person each year.
In the past, the day of recognition was July 13.
But in 2022, Checkers and other fast-food chains rallied to change the date.
They began a petition to make the holiday fall on the second Friday in July.
