Jeep driver injured, ticketed after rollover crash on I-80 in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was injured Tuesday in a rollover crash on Interstate 80 in Lincoln.

Just before 11:30 a.m., a westbound Jeep hit the back of a dump truck near the Interstate 180 interchange, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.

The Jeep rolled and ended up on its side in the ditch.

A user of the NOW Local News App shared a video of the aftermath of the crash, which was taken by a passenger in a vehicle on I-80.

The driver of the Jeep was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the patrol.

The driver of the dump truck was not hurt.

Troopers ticketed the driver of the Jeep on suspicion of reckless driving and not having a valid registration.
