Jimmy John’s Delivery Man gets a new car

One Jimmy John’s man has a new car after he went out of his way to give a veteran a ride to the hospital.

“When I found out about it I called the store yesterday and spoke to Zach to thank him for what he did. And I said how’s your car running and he said ‘Well I’ve got a ’91 cavalier I don’t have a radio but it works for delivery’ and I said you know what I going to bring you a new car,” said the founder of Jimmy John’s, Jimmy John Liautaud.

Zach Hillmer ditched his old ride for a brand new Ford Escape.

The founder of Jimmy Johns flew into Columbus this morning to hand the keys over to Zach.

Even though he thinks it was a small gesture, this new car is life changing.

“It’s beautiful and it’s amazing I don’t even know, I don’t even have the word to say it, really it was an amazing thing when Jimmy called me told me what he was going to do for me. It was pretty emotional for me,” said Hillmer.
