Jordyn Bahl’s two-homer day leads No. 18 Nebraska past Washington

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The No. 18-ranked Nebraska softball team took the series against Washington on Sunday, beating the Huskies 6-0 in Seattle.


Jordyn Bahl had a strong day in the circle, and at the plate.

The Papillion native hit two home runs, totaling 4 RBI’s and tossed a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts.

With the series win, the Huskers captured their 5th conference series victory, and remain perfect in the spring.

NU improved to 35-12 (14-5 Big Ten) with the win, while Washington fell to 32-15 (10-8 Big Ten). 

Nebraska will return to Lincoln for its final regular season series at Bowlin Stadium, lining up against the Maryland Terrapins on Friday.
