LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Seward man was found competent to stand trial Wednesday in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend.

Casey Kindt, 54, was being evaluated by doctors at the Lincoln Regional Center to see if he understands the proceedings against him and can assist in his own defense.
