June wraps up much cooler
A cold front moving through the region means cooler temperatures overnight.
Highs tomorrow will be 10 to 15 degrees cooler compared to today.
Portions of Nebraska will only reach into the 70’s tomorrow.
Winds switch to the north and gusty tomorrow bringing in that cooler air.
It’s a short lived cooling trend as the heat cranks up as July arrives on Monday.
Storm chances are greater in western Nebraska tonight as an upper level low and a trough slide to our north dragging a cold front through the area. Storm chances have dropped to slight overnight in eastern Nebraska as we enjoy a great weekend via the cold front and those north winds. July turns hot again with another cold front arriving Monday evening triggering thunderstorms bringing another slight cool down. Storms possible for the 4th with the forecast showing drier warmer conditions into next weekend.
