‘Just covered with poop’: Omaha man finds feces at his front door

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An Omaha man had a rude awakening Saturday morning.

Someone left two piles of feces on Kim Heath’s porch, KMTV reported.

He woke up about 4 a.m. to the sound of a man trying to break into his home near 39th and J streets.

The man was beating on the door and jiggling the doorknob, Heath said.

“He just said, ‘Let me in, let me in,'” Heath said. “I’m like, ‘No, you are not coming in. I don’t know who you are.”

While Heath called the police, his security camera captured the man squatting in the doorway.

When Heath went back to the door, the man was gone, but he had left something behind.

“Two piles of poop right in between the doors,” Heath said. “And the door was just covered with poop. We don’t do that here. You need to use the bathroom, plenty of gas stations open.”

He filed a police report, and the Omaha Police Department said the burglary unit is investigating.

Heath said the cleanup was “terrible.”

“I did a lot of flushing,” he said. “I came out with a hose Sunday and sprayed everything down real good.”
