Justice for all march

It was day of protests around the country and right here in the Capital City protesters are speaking out against the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases. 

The local group “We-Midwest” peacefully marched from 13th and P to the Pinnacle Bank Arena this evening. 

Their message, to end the oppression and injustice for minority communities. 

“No one should feel unsafe in this world,” protester VJ Herbert said. “We all should respect and honor each other and until that happens, I will not rest.”

There was a moment of silence to remember the victims who recently lost their lives. 

We-Midwest plans to host other protests in the future.
