Kansas City Royals sweep the Baltimore Orioles, will play in Divisional Series

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Kansas City Royals are headed back to the divisional series for the first time since 2015.
After a nine-year hiatus, KC has won its first playoff series after a 2-0 sweep of the Orioles in Camden Yards.

The Royals won 1-0 on Tuesday in Baltimore behind a dominant pitching performance from Cole Ragans, who went six innings, striking out eight.
Bobby Witt Jr. also shined in his postseason debut with an RBI single, scoring the only run of the game.
On Wednesday, Witt was the hero again, beating out an infield single to drive in the go-ahead run for Kansas City.
The Royals hung on to win 2-1.
Next up, the New York Yankees.
The divisional rounds begin Saturday.
