Kansas motorcyclist threatens driver with shotgun in central Nebraska, the state patrol says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Kansas man was arrested Friday after a road rage incident in central Nebraska.

Around 9:30 a.m., troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol received a report that a motorcyclist was driving in a reckless manner and threatened another vehicle with a shotgun.

The rider reportedly pulled the shotgun out of the motorcycle’s saddlebag and waived it in a threatening manner at another vehicle, according to the state patrol.

A trooper was able to find the motorcyclist about 15 minutes later, and saw the rider speeding on Highway 2 near Berwyn.

The trooper pulled the rider over and found the shotgun in the saddlebag.

The rider, 25-year-old Kyle Sales of Wichita, was arrested for terroristic threats, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a short shotgun.

He was lodged in the Custer County Jail.
