The Albuquerque, New Mexico native admits that she’s had to explain that to everyone she meets, but she’s used to it.
Katrine graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting, and a Minor in Business Administration. Katrine worked as a news and weather intern in Phoenix and Houston during college. After college, she took her degree and her experience to KLST in San Angelo, Texas where her duties included reporting and weekend/midday weather anchor. Katrine came to KLKN-TV in February of 2001. She is the weekend weather anchor and reporter for Channel 8 Eyewitness News.
