Kearney teen arrested on several drug charges in narcotics investigation, state patrol says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Kearney teen was arrested as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the Nebraska State Patrol said.

On Friday, investigators with the state patrol served a search warrant at a house near 26th Street and B Avenue in Kearney.

During the search, authorities found over 5 grams of THC wax, 61 grams of marijuana, over 50 THC vape cartidriges and nine firearms.

The resident — 19-year-old Jacob Broweleit — was arrested on suspicion of two counts of distribution of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and distribution of a controlled substance.

He was lodged in the Buffalo County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
