In case you missed it, today’s episode of Jeopardy included a touching message from the late Alex Trebek.

“Happy Thanksgiving ladies and gentlemen. You know, in spite of what America and the rest of the world is experiencing right now, there are many reasons to be thankful. There are more and more people extending helpful hands to do a kindness to their neighbors, and that’s a good thing. Keep the faith. We’re gonna get through all of this and we will be a better society because of it.” – Alex Trebek

Hosting Jeopardy for 37-years, Trebeck remains a household name and American treasure. Something that became apparent through the shrines, dedications, and memorials that popped up across the U.S. after his passing.

The Jeopardy Executive Producer, Mike Richard, said, “He will forever be an inspiration for his constant desire to learn, for his kindness and for his love of his family… On behalf of everyone here at ‘Jeopardy!’ thank you for everything, Alex.”

When the show resumes production, a collection of interim hosts will lead the game show. The first to Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings.
