Keeping some clouds on Sunday, but looking dry

As of Saturday night, light to moderate showers were falling in southeast Nebraska. These showers have already come to an end. Overall rainfall totals on Saturday were fairly light.

Saturday Rainfall Totals

Sunday should feature some clouds. Mother Nature was happy to dish out a few surprises on Sunday morning and offer up more sunshine. However, I do anticipate some more clouds by the afternoon. That said, we’re not expecting much in terms of rainfall on Sunday. High temperatures should be able to make it into the to low-50s as a result of morning sunshine.

Sunday Forecast

An area of high pressure slides eastward on Monday, adding a southerly component to the wind. This will have the effect of warming us up to the upper-60s to near 70° on Monday. We may surpass the 70° mark on Tuesday!

A weather system approaches on Tuesday night. As things stand now, this appears to be a dry system but it will have the effect of cooling off our temperatures for the second half of the workweek.
