Kindergarten registration for 2024-25 school year in Lincoln now open
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Parents can now sign up their kids for kindergarten at Lincoln Public Schools for the 2024-25 school year.
Starting Wednesday, families can register on the district’s website or by calling the school in their attendance area.
Parents need to provide a certified birth certificate and current immunization records, according to LPS.
State law requires that students be 5 or older on or before July 31 to register.
But students who turn 5 between Aug. 1 and Oct. 15 can take a test for early admission.
Families wishing to enroll at a school outside of their attendance area will need to fill out a permit.
Anyone with questions can call LPS student services at 402-436-1680.
