The Sandhills-Thedford Lady Knights were on their way to Lincoln for the state basketball tournament.
But the Lady Knights didn’t stay long in the capital city.
Howells-Dodge defeated them on Wednesday, bringing their season to a close.
The district said the girls played their hearts out and had a “tremendous” season.
Tough loss for the Lady Knights. Howells-Dodge brings our season to an end 51-44. You girls played your hearts out and we couldn’t be prouder! You played with grit and determination, just came up a few buckets short! Still you had a tremendous season, so much to be proud of of
