Lancaster County COVID-19 risk dial moves down into low yellow

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lancaster County COVID-19 risk dial has been moved down into the low yellow category.

Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Director Pat Lopez made the announcement Tuesday during her weekly COVID-19 update.

The positivity rate was 4.6 percent last week, the lowest since July, and the seven-day rolling average of hospitalizations is now below 50.

The weekly number of new COVID-19 cases has declined at least 40% each week since the end of January, falling to 157 last week.

There has been one death related to COVID-19 this month.
