Lancaster County COVID-19 update

The community total is now pushed closer to surpassing 21,000 total coronavirus cases.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Officials with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) report 165 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lancaster County today, bringing the community total to 20,906.

The number of deaths in the community remains at 135.

The county is reporting 6,163 people have recovered from COVID-19.

Statewide, 612 Nebraskans are currently hospitalized from the virus.

The positivity rate in Lancaster County so far this week is 28%.
