Lancaster County Jail COVID-19 outbreak

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- 12 inmates in general population housing have contracted COVID-19 at the Lancaster County Jail in the last week.

These inmates are now being isolated away from the general population.

This is the jail’s first outbreak, up until now, it had nine cases of the virus in total during the pandemic.

Because of the outbreak, the county jail is now under lockdown.
