Lancaster County residents can now report at-home COVID test results

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department has introduced a new resource that allows Lancaster County residents to report their at-home COVID test results to the Health Department and give them helpful quarantine and isolation information.
The form is availible at COVID19.lincoln.ne.gov and is located in the testing section of the website below the risk dial. After entering some basic information, the type of test used, the date of the test, and the result of the test, residents will submit the form and will receive information on quarentine and isolation.
Forms are only to be used by Lancaster County residents who are using a testing kit at home. Do not use tests completed at schools, childcare, healthcare facilities, and other testing sites like those proctored by eMed.
All information collected by the Health Department will be kept confidential.
Health Director Pat Lopez said that results from the at home test reporting form will give the department valuable information on the number of home testing kits being used and how much COVID-19 may be spreading.
