Lancaster County sees nearly 100 new COVID-19 cases Saturday
The Lancaster County Health Department announced 96 new COVID-19 cases in Lincoln and Lancaster County Saturday afternoon.
The Lancaster County Health Department announced Saturday afternoon 96 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19. It comes after Friday’s announcement that weekly number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 80.
The total number of cases in the county is now at 6,233, and the number of deaths remains at 24.
The overall positivity rate for Lancaster County is up from 8.2 to 8.3 percent. The state rate remains at 9.7 percent.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
