Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office investigating break-in at Hickman pharmacy

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early Monday morning break-in at a pharmacy in Hickman.

Around 3:40 a.m., deputies were notified of a break-in at the Meadowlark Pharmacy near 68th Street and Prairie View Lane.

Sheriff Terry Wagner said a person broke through the pharmacy’s drive-through window using a “blunt” object.

They stole several drugs before leaving the business.

Wagner noted the pharmacy has been burglarized three times in the last three years.  Deputies are investigating whether the break-ins are connected.

In a post on Facebook, the pharmacy said its drive-through will be out of service “until further notice.”
