Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office seizes stolen gun during I-80 traffic stop
Deputies also found drug-related items with meth residue, six rings, a Rolex watch, two laptops, four tablets, three phones and $4,600.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office seized a stolen gun during a traffic stop on Interstate 80.
On Tuesday, the crime interdiction task force stopped a car with Illinois plates west of Lincoln. They stopped the car for following too close, according to LSO.
The driver, 30-year-old Vincent Nagel of Grand Island, was a convicted felon. He told the deputies that he had antique weapons in the car that he was taking to a family member, LSO says.
Deputies found five rifles and ammo in the trunk. One of the guns was reported stolen in a burglary in Omaha last October.
Deputies also found drug-related items with meth residue, six rings, a Rolex watch, two laptops, four tablets, three phones and $4,600, according to LSO.
LSO arrested Nagel on suspicion of possessing a firearm by a prohibited person and possessing a stolen firearm. They released the three passengers.
The investigation is currently ongoing, LSO says.
