Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office seizes $800,000 worth of meth

They also found 40 grams of suspected fentanyl, used syringes and $2,620 in the vehicle.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office has seized around $800,000 worth of meth during a traffic stop on Wednesday.

Members of the Criminal Interdiction Task Force pulled over a Toyota Camry for following too close on I-80 around 2:38 p.m., according to LSO.  Deputies then developed probable cause to search the vehicle.

Deputies found 18.5 pounds of suspected meth, 40 grams of suspected fentanyl, used syringes and $2,620, LSO says.  The street value of the fentanyl is unknown.

LSO arrested Judith Ann Deandrade, 37, of Las Vegas and Arica Marie Downs, 35, of Rumford, Maine.

Both were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver (more than 140 grams), possession of money while violating NRS 28-416 and evading drug tax.
