Las Vegas man sentenced for distributing more than 165 pounds of meth in Lincoln area

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Las Vegas man was sentenced Friday after being caught shipping methamphetamine to several homes in Lincoln.

Alejandro Delapena, 26, got 8½ years in federal prison followed by a five-year term of supervised release.

From February 2020 to May 2022, Delapena was having packages of methamphetamine delivered to houses in Lincoln.

Investigators said Delapena received multiple pounds of meth at a time.

Delapena is estimated to have been responsible for distributing more than 165 pounds of meth in the Lincoln area during that time frame.
