Lazerek Houston shines in Lincoln Northeast’s overtime win over Lincoln Southeast
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – It was Lincoln Northeast’s night Tuesday, winning an overtime thriller against Lincoln Southeast on the road.
The Rockets won 83-76 in extra time to capture their sixth win of the season.
Lazerek Houston went off for the Rockets, going for a game-high 34 points on 12-for-18 shooting.

It was a tight battle all the way down to the final two buzzers.
The Knights held a slim 16-12 lead after one.
They went into halftime up just one point, 34-33.
Both teams traded blows in the second half, with the Knights having the upper hand late, up 65-61 in the fourth.
A Houston dunk, followed by a five-second violation, gave way to a Grant Fredericks’ game-tying layup off the Houston feed.
In overtime, it was time for takeoff for the Rockets.
Mike Ngoyi finished with 29 points on 12-for-23 shooting for the Knights.
