Rockin’ for a Reason: Lincoln seniors raise money for Alzheimer’s walk

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Legacy Arbors held its ninth annual Rockin’ for a Reason event this Wednesday.

Residents of the memory care community sang songs in their rocking chairs and sold tie-dye shirts and baked goods.

It was all to raise awareness and money for the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Oct. 8 at Haymarket Park.

Legacy Arbors has raised around $10,000 through its past events.
