Lego palooza: See dozens of creations at Nebraska Brick Days in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lego is taking over the Lancaster Event Center this weekend for Nebraska Brick Days.

A Lego Van Halen concert is just one of the displays you could see at the expo on Saturday and Sunday.

Other unique builds made entirely of Lego bricks include the State Capitol, Lincoln-area landmarks and a sunflower painting.

They were made by builders from all over the Midwest.

“We’re going to have over 75 displayers here all with different builds that they have,” event organizer Dan Schmidt said. “Some of them have multiple builds.”

There will also be plenty of hands-on activities for kids and adults of all ages.  They’ll have the opportunity to build cars and race them down a track, as well as make their own unique creations.

You can also buy your own Lego sets.

Tickets are $10 for everyone 8 and up and $5 for those younger.

You can purchase tickets online or at the door.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
