LES releases clarifications over 2019 rates, says most customers will see “little to no change” in monthly bills

LES is issuing a statement to clarify reports about its 2019 rates. 

The company said there has been a “growing amount of misinformation” in the past few days since it announced its rates for the coming year. 

The statement said that LES is not having a systemwide rate increase, but it is in the fourth year of restructuring its rates. 

A company spokeswoman said most customers will see little to no change in their monthly bill. 

LES is holding a public meeting Thursday, October 4th at the LES Service Center off N. 27th Street where customers can ask questions about their bill.
