Lexington man sentenced to 10 years in prison for role in meth ring

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Nebraska man was sentenced on Monday for his role in a meth conspiracy, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.
Jonathan Beale, 23, of Lexington will spend 10 years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
U.S. District Judge John M. Gerrard also sentenced him to five years of post-prison supervised release.
Beale was part of a group selling meth in Nebraska from at least June 2021 to October 2022, authorities said.
Multiple law enforcement agencies “pieced the conspiracy together” using eyewitnesses, electronic evidence and searches, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
One of those searches took place at Beale’s home in February 2022.
Investigators found almost 11 ounces of meth, items used for drug packing and more than $2,000.
His co-conspirators in the Lexington area were also caught with meth and cash, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.
