LFR battles fire at central Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several LFR crews extinguished a fire Tuesday at a home in central Lincoln.
The fire was reported around 11:20 a.m. at a home near 40th and Randolph streets.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said the fire started in a child’s bedroom and was extinguished quickly.
A Channel 8 reporter shared a video of LFR’s response at the home on the NOW Local News App.
Two adults, three kids and several pets were inside the home when the fire started.
Everyone was able to exit the home and nobody was injured, Lierman said.
The family will be relocated due to the damage inside the home.
