LFR crews battle fire at east Lincoln condo building
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several firefighters responded to a fire at a condo building in east Lincoln early Monday morning.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews were sent around 8:30 a.m. to Lake Park Condominiums near 56th Street and Pioneers Boulevard.
LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said the fire was contained to a bedroom in a single unit on the second floor.
The building had some smoke damage, according to Lierman. No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
Lierman said the unit had about $10,000 in damage to its contents. The unit below had minimal water damage.
