LFR crews extinguish brush fire at Woods Park in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews put out a brush fire early Tuesday morning at Woods Park.
LFR Capt. Chris Pugh said crews were sent to the park near 33rd and J streets on a report of a brush fire.
Additional resources were requested, and firefighters saw towering flames coming from the pile of tree debris.
The fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes, Pugh said.
The cause of the fire is unknown, and no property was damaged, according to Pugh.
