LFR makes quick work of grass fire in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Crews put out a small grass fire Tuesday night in west Lincoln.

Firefighters were called to the blaze near Southwest First and West B streets about 9:30 p.m.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue said firefighters extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes.

The cause is not known for sure, but LFR said the fire may have started at one of the campsites in the field.
