LFR puts out car fire at south Lincoln gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A car caught fire Monday at a south Lincoln gas station.

The fire was reported about 3:30 p.m. at the U-Stop on 56th Street between Nebraska Parkway and Old Cheney Road.

A user of the NOW Local News App uploaded a video showing a Dodge Challenger with a melted front bumper. There was water on the ground.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue was on scene.

It’s not known what caused the fire or whether anyone was injured.

There was no apparent damage to the gas station.
